Can we identify the exact run?
Capture the test name, environment, browser, commit or build reference, execution time and the person or system that triggered it.
Use this checklist after a failed run. Its purpose is simple: make sure the team has enough evidence to decide what to do next.
Capture the test name, environment, browser, commit or build reference, execution time and the person or system that triggered it.
Record whether it fails again locally or in CI. A single red run is evidence, not yet a diagnosis.
Review the Playwright trace, screenshot or video, error message, relevant logs and the test steps around the failure.
Classify it as product behaviour, flaky test, selector issue, test data, environment, timing or missing context. Mark uncertainty when it remains.
Assign a concrete next action: reproduce, fix, improve the test, investigate infrastructure or collect missing evidence. Give it an owner.
XYVA QA Studio lets teams run Playwright locally and review the evidence together, while code and credentials remain in their own environment.
